A new Question Group series starts Wednesday, July 14. Here’s the details:
Series Topic: Is the God of the Bible “good?”
Dates: Wednesday July 14, 21, & 28
Time: 7:30pm
Location: DazBog Coffee, 12th Ave. & Clayton St. in Congress Park
Special Guest: Dr. Danny Carroll, Distinguished Professor of Old Testament at Denver Seminary, will lead us on July 14. Dr. Carroll has a specific expertise in how the God of the Old Testament treated the “outsiders” and “foreigners” in Israel. (Dr. Carroll’s bio)
There will be an extended time of Q&A, so please come with any questions you might have about the Old Testament.
Series Description: Many who check out Christianity are not just asking whether God exists but whether or not the God of the Bible is truly good. So in this series we’ll read the Bible to discover God’s character through the eyes of those who were the most vulnerable in ancient societies: the foreigner and the poor.
No RSVP Necessary
